‘The advantages and disadvantages of public transport‘
It is useful to look at a topic from different perspectives. Can you do this with the topic ofpublic transport? Look at the following ideas and how the student has approached the subject 🙂
Public transport from different perspectives
For the society, a well developed public transport system can reduce traffic congestion so people can get to the workplace on time if there are fewer cars on the road.
For the environment, increasing the use of public transport can reduce emissions of greenhouse gas coming from private cars.
For road safety, more car accidents can be avoided because people do not need to drive when they are tired after a day of work
For individuals, people don’t need to worry about finding a parking space in the city; public transport can be a socialising space where people can chat and make friends.
For the economy, public transport can provide job opportunities. For example, shops and restaurants at a public transport exchange are always full of customers.
So choose another topic and try to do the same, looking at different perspectives (a great way to brainstorm a topic)!
